Unless you want to hard-wire the RGB accessories in your new headlight build to stay a single color, you need an RGB controller to get all that sweet color-shifting functionality! We have several options to choose from depending on the quantity and brand of parts you are using. And, if you are wanting to mix and match, pick up a few of our RGB plug adapters to keep everything compatible, or cut the connectors off entirely and hard-wire!
Diode Dynamics BT Remote:
4 total outputs with waterproof M8 plugs. Ideal for Diode Dynamics products such as demon eyes, underglow, etc.
1 zone only, e.g. all 4 outputs will be the same color at any time.
XKGlow XKChrome Remote:
2 total outputs with proprietary waterproof plugs. Ideal for XKGlow products or other RGB products with plug adapters and splitters.
2 zone only, e.g. zone 1 and zone 2 can be different colors at any given time.
Includes signal override wires for turn signal or running lights modes (can be programmed in app).
Morimoto XBT Remote:
6 total outputs with JST 4- and 5-pin plugs. Ideal for Profile RGB products such as halos, strips, etc.
3 zones only, e.g. zones 1, 2, and 3 can be set to different colors at any given time.
All remotes must be wires to 12V power and ground, we recommend installing a switch inline as well to toggle power off when not needed for long periods of time.
